Sand-Cast Bronze “Trout Cowboy” Sculpture
On a recent trip to sell my work in the Southwest, I realized I had no western-themed art. To fill this gap while remaining true to my Michigan roots, I created the “Trout Cowboy”—a unique sculpture blending western spirit with northern inspiration.
Designed and cast in bronze by Scott Nelles in his studio and foundry in Elk Rapids, Michigan, this piece measures 6″ high by 10.5″ long and weighs 3 pounds. Its detailed craftsmanship captures the dynamic energy of a cowboy riding a trout in vivid, lifelike bronze.
